Information We Collect

To provide raid protection, blacklist detection, and moderation features, Elyx may collect and process:

• Discord identifiers — user IDs, server (guild) IDs, channel IDs, and role IDs needed for the bot to function.
• Server configuration data — the settings staff configure, such as enabled features, notification channels, and permission roles.
• Blacklist data — records of user IDs associated with globally blacklisted accounts, used to detect and alert on their presence in a server.
• Moderation activity — logs of moderation actions taken through Elyx (such as warnings or case history) where that feature is enabled.
• Limited message metadata — where anti-spam or anti-link protection is enabled, Elyx evaluates message patterns and links to detect violations. Elyx does not read, store, or use message content for any purpose beyond this protective function.

How We Use Information

Information collected by Elyx is used only to operate and improve the bot's core functions, including:

• Detecting globally blacklisted users and notifying server staff.
• Identifying and responding to raid activity and suspicious behavior.
• Enforcing anti-spam, anti-link, and honeypot protections.
• Maintaining moderation case history for staff reference.
• Diagnosing issues and maintaining the reliability of the bot.

Data Sharing

Elyx does not sell user data. Information is not shared with third parties except where required to operate the bot (such as Discord's own API and infrastructure) or where disclosure is required by law.

Data Retention

Configuration data and moderation logs are retained for as long as Elyx remains active in a server, so that staff can reference prior actions and maintain continuity of protection. Blacklist records are retained globally, across servers, since blacklist detection is designed to function server-independently. Data associated with a server is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after Elyx is removed from that server.

Your Choices

Server administrators can reconfigure or disable individual Elyx features at any time. Removing Elyx from a server stops further data collection from that server going forward. Users with questions about data associated with their account can reach out using the contact information below.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information Elyx processes against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children's Privacy

Elyx is intended for use in accordance with Discord's own Terms of Service, including its age requirements. Elyx does not knowingly collect information from users in a manner inconsistent with those requirements.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in Elyx's features or practices. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
